
PADI Open Water Course
The Open Water Diver certification is your initial step into the world of scuba diving. Our dedicated team of experienced PADI Instructors is committed to providing you with comprehensive scuba diving instruction in a comfortable and encouraging setting. Upon completion of this course, you will possess the necessary expertise and understanding to confidently explore both local and international diving destinations, while also becoming an advocate for the beauty and conservation of the underwater realm.

Pre Requisite:
​

Able to swim.
-
Minimum 10 years and older.
-
3 days of class.
-
Medically evaluated and cleared for diving by a physician within 12 months.

What To Expect

Day 1: Introduction and Theory
​

Morning Session: Introduction to the course, safety briefing, and completion of paperwork.

Review Dive theory covering fundamental topics such as dive physics, physiology, equipment, and safety procedures.

Confined Water Session: Pool or shallow water session to practice basic scuba skills under instructor supervision.

Day 2: Confined Water Dives and Knowledge Development

Morning Session: Review of dive theory and completion of knowledge development quizzes or exams.

Confined Water Dives: Further practice of scuba skills in confined water to build confidence and competence.

Open Water Dive Planning: Introduction to dive planning and preparation for open water dives.

Day 3: Open Water Dives and Certification

Open Water Dives: Conducting two open water dives under instructor supervision to apply skills learned in confined water.

Final Skills Assessment: Demonstration of competency in basic scuba skills during open water dives.

Certification: Upon successful completion of all course requirements, students receive their PADI Open Water Diver certification.
Throughout the course, students will receive guidance and feedback from experienced instructors, as well as opportunities for self-directed study and reflection to enhance their knowledge and skills in scuba diving. The course curriculum is designed to provide a solid foundation in scuba diving fundamentals, preparing students to dive safely and confidently in open water environments.
