PADI Advance Open Water Course
The Advanced Open Water Diver course focuses on enhancing your diving abilities. During the course, you'll gain experience in navigation, improve your buoyancy control, explore deep diving, and have the opportunity to choose and complete three specialty dives, almost like enjoying a diverse platter of specialties. Moreover, each specialty dive you accomplish contributes towards earning PADI specialty certifications. Among the numerous options available, some include Deep Diving, Digital Underwater Photography, Dive Against Debris, Dry Suit Diving, Enriched Air Nitrox, Fish Identification, Night Diving, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search & Recovery, Underwater Naturalist, Underwater Navigation, and Wreck Diving.

What To Expect

Day 1: Orientation and Theory
​

Introduction to the course objectives, PADI standards, and requirements.

Dive theory session covering advanced diving topics such as deep diving, underwater navigation, and dive planning.

Review of equipment considerations for advanced dives, including dive computers and underwater lights.

Day 2: Practical Dives

Deep Dive: Conducting a deep dive between 18-30 meters (60-100 feet) to experience nitrogen narcosis and learn proper procedures for deeper diving.

Underwater Navigation Dive: Practicing compass navigation skills and natural navigation techniques to enhance underwater orientation.

Elective Adventure Dive: Choosing from a list of specialty dives such as night diving, drift diving, buoyancy control, or wreck diving.

Day 3: Advanced Adventure Dives

Peak Performance Buoyancy Dive: Fine-tuning buoyancy skills through precision weighting, trim adjustments, and hovering techniques.

Underwater Naturalist Dive: Observing aquatic life and identifying common marine species to enhance environmental awareness.

Final Certification Dive: Combining skills learned throughout the course in a real-world diving scenario under instructor supervision.

Throughout the course, students will receive guidance and feedback from experienced instructors, as well as opportunities for self-directed study and reflection to enhance their knowledge and skills in advanced diving techniques. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will earn their PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification, allowing them to explore a wider range of diving environments and dive sites with increased confidence and competence.
